William C. Hackett
William C. Hackett is associate professor of philosophy at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. He is the author of the prizewinning novel Outside the Gates (Angelico Press, 2021), Anthropomorphism in Christian Theology (Bloomsbury Academic, 2024), Philosophy in Word and Name (Angelico Press, 2020), and coauthor of Quiet Powers of the Possible: Interviews in Contemporary French Phenomenology (Fordham University Press, 2016). Among his translations are Jean-Yves Lacoste’s From Theology to Theological Thinking, 2nd ed. (University of Virginia Press, 2023), Jean Wahl’s Human Existence and Transcendence (University of Notre Dame Press, 2016), and Emmanuel Falque’s God, the Flesh, and the Other (Northwestern University Press, 2014).
